Happy St. Patrick’s Day

I’ve read over and over how it is the one day when everyone wants to be Irish.  My brother’s wife is straight from the isle and she always says it’s just another day.  Sorta like Cinco de Mayo.  I say any excuse to dress up like this and have a Guinness or three is good enough reason to call that sucker a holiday.  So, here’s to you and yours.  Or, more appropriately:

Here’s to a long life and a merry one. A quick death and an easy one. A pretty girl and an honest one. A cold beer – and another one!

No good?  Alright, one more to close.

May those who love us, love us; and those who don’t love us, may God turn their hearts; and if He doesn’t turn their hearts, may he turn their ankles so we’ll know them by their limping.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day from “the notes”!
